“50 million in 3 days,” LeBron James can surpass Cristiano Ronaldo in YouTube subscribers, says Adin Ross

Creator Adin Ross believes LeBron James can break Cristiano Ronaldo’s YouTube subscriber record in half the time.

Soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo dominated the headlines for reasons other than his usual scoring prowess. This time it was when his newly launched YouTube channel became the fastest channel in history to reach 50 million subscribers. The record has left a lot of people shaking their heads, except one YouTuber who suggested that LeBron James could do better.

YouTuber Adin Ross was on a live stream when he was talking to those connected. When someone from the live audience talked about Cristiano Ronaldo‘s record, Ross had a few things to say.

I wanna say one thing cause somebody said something. ‘Do you think if LeBron a YouTube, he’ll get 50 million?’ Guys, if LeBron James made a YouTube video (channel) tonight, he’ll be at 50 million in three days. Facts. I’m sorry, but it’s the truth. It’s the truth. Adin Ross said

Ross’ words suggest that the Los Angeles Lakers superstar could pull 50 million subscribers on YouTube in half the time Ronaldo has. It is possible, but it seems his words were said without context or in the heat of the moment.

Cristiano Ronaldo is a social media giant with 637 million followers on Instagram and close to 113 million followers on X. LeBron James’ numbers are roughly one-fourth on Instagram and less than half on X. That should give an idea about the popularity of the soccer great.

The Los Angeles Lakers superstar did start a YouTube channel with his new head coach. But that struggled to get a million subscribers for as long as it was active, which is why he has shifted his focus back on enjoying life and hyping others who deserve some attention.
