Nets star Kevin Durant enjoyed a trip to Saint-Tropez just days before he doubled down on his trade request earlier this month in a meeting with team owner Joe Tsai.
The two-time NBA champion took in the French Riviera as he walked the streets of Saint-Tropez in photos taken on Tuesday, Aug. 2, — a few days before he met with Nets brass that weekend, and proposed an ultimatum to trade him or fire coach Steve Nash and GM Sean Marks.
Durant was pictured dribbling a basketball while out with a group of people, including a few women, around 3 a.m. The former league MVP stepped out in a pair of Nike sneakers and rocked a brown hat, a Balenciaga T-shirt, and off-white sweatpants.

It’s unclear if Durant, 33, was on vacation during his time in France.
The Nets forward has been traveling throughout the NBA offseason following Brooklyn’s first-round playoff ouster by the Celtics in April.
On Tuesday, Durant was seen working out with Celtics star Jayson Tatum at a court in Los Angeles in photos taken by Boston-based photographer Bred Hampton. That came after The Athletic reported at the end of July that the Celtics had engaged in trade talks with the Nets about a possible deal for Durant.
Last week, now-viral videos appeared to show Durant and his former Nets teammate, James Harden, working out together on a court in Barcelona. Their reunion came amid a report by SNY’s Ian Begley that “high-ranking members of the Sixers” are interested in discussing a Durant deal with the Nets.
Harden, who forced his way out of Brooklyn, landed with the 76ers in February.

Durant and Harden attended a Travis Scott concert on Aug. 6 at London’s O2 Arena, where the rapper’s girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, shared a video of the NBA All-Stars spraying Scott with champagne. The concert fell on the same weekend Durant met with Nets brass about his future with the team.
Durant, who will turn 34 in September, signed a four-year, $198 million extension with the Nets last August. The Nets want a massive haul in return for a player of Durant’s caliber, making it difficult to land a potential trade partner.
