One’s a Hollywood star and the other the biggest name in basketball.

But despite having made their names in different arenas, there’s seemingly a massive ‘bromance’ between Hugh Jackman and LeBron James.

The NBA star reaffirmed his love for the Aussie actor this week on Instagram, only for Hugh to reply with a shout-out for the four-time MVP – the latest in a long history of shared appreciation between the pair.

Taking to social media on Wednesday, LeBron shared a video Hugh had posted days earlier of him acting out a scene from his recently released movie Logan.

Kicking off the latest installment of their bromance in front of 28.6 million followers, the Cleveland Cavaliers star said he had long loved watching Hugh’s Wolverine films.

‘First of all Major S/O @thehughjackman!!’ the basketball captioned the post.

‘Looks extremely intense but fun at the same time. And let’s not leave out the part how much I love Wolverine too!!’

Having noticed the post from the legendary sportsman, Hugh was quick to respond.

The Golden Globe winner told how he watched LeBron’s team win a dramatic NBA championship in June last year, in between breaks from filming the movie.

‘@kingjames as we filmed Logan we watched every game of the most epic comeback in NBA finals HISTORY,’ the Hollywood star wrote alongside his post. 

‘You ARE a super hero!! Respect and thanks for the inspiration over all these years! HJ.’

Previously the two stars have been full of praise for each other, with Hugh sharing a photo of himself in a Cavs top when LeBron returned to his hometown team.

They were also pictured together in 2011, with Hugh captioning the photo: ‘And I thought I was tall!’

LeBron has always been a mega fan of the Wolverine series that turned Hugh into a household name, while the actor has also been seen courtside at James’ games.

The pair have both enjoyed a successful 2017 so far, with Hugh’s film Logan a major box office hit while LeBron’s team is on track for back-to-back NBA titles.
