They’re each other’s biggest fans.
NBA All-Star Steph Curry surprised his wife, Ayesha, at the starry opening of her and Chef Michael Mina’s new Miami restaurant, International Smoke – Aventura Mall, on Tuesday, an insider told Page Six.
The Golden State Warriors point guard happened to be in town to play the Miami Heat the next day.
After giving each other a huge embrace, “Steph kept saying how proud he was of [Ayesha],” the source said. “They were looking lovingly into each other’s eyes and were just really enjoying each other’s company.”
At one point, Curry was seen cheering on his restaurateur wife on as she popped a bottle of Champagne in celebration.
We’re told the basketball player, 30, posed for photos with young fans, with Ayesha, 29, jumping in to help snap some pics.
Following a ribbon-cutting ceremony, guests at the launch, including Ayesha’s mom and Steph’s teammates Andre Iguodala and Kevon Looney, dined on Korean short rib, Cuban porchetta and fresh flounder with garlic and rice, the source told us.
