Onlookers grew concerned when the boy disappeared into the murky depths, worried that he may not reappear. When Bilal got out of the water, baby deer in hand, the locals cheered. The baby was immediately reunited with its family.

“He was such a brave boy. The river was so full of water and it was high tide so we thought he might drown. My friend was ready to jump into the river to save the boy, but he made it.”
