Selena Gomez, 32, opted to wear the timeless choice while attending the premiere for Season 4 of “Only Murders in the Building,” which took place in Los Angeles on Thursday night.
Walking the red carpet, she showed off a short, halter-neck design from Self-portrait ($555), which featured sparkling metallic threading throughout along with embellished straps and a sweet bow detail.
For Thursday’s event, the actress, 32, chose to wear a short black halter dress from Self-portrait.

The “Love On” singer also opted for classic glam for Thursday’s premiere.

She paired a smokey eye with neutral lips and a slicked-back hairstyle, and also chose to complete Thursday’s look with red nail polish.

Gomez, who was styled by Erin Walsh, added more bling in the form of drop earrings and multiple diamond rings from Marli.
The “Love On” singer topped things off with statement-making footwear, slipping on rhinestone- and bow-embellished pumps from Roger Vivier.
She also went with classic glam for the occasion, pairing a dark, smokey eye with neutral lips, a sleek, slicked-back hairstyle and red nail polish.
At one point, she chose to cover up in a black blazer, letting the layer fall by her elbows.
Also in attedence at Thursday’s premiere were Gomez’s co-stars.

While Gomez’s boyfriend, Benny Blanco, wasn’t in attendance at the event, she didn’t walk the red carpet solo.
The former Disney star posed alongside her co-stars, Steve Martin, Martin Short and Meryl Streep — with the latter two continuing to fuel dating rumors by holding hands on the carpet.
Gomez has had no shortage of stunning red carpet moments this year, kicking off 2024 with a red Giorgio Armani dress at the Golden Globes before going bridal in a white Atelier Versace gown at the SAG Awards.
In April, she channeled Barbiecore in an all-pink look, coordinating her shirtdress with her coat while launching Rare Beauty’s Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush ($26).
Gomez has had plenty of bold red carpet looks in 2024, including her red dress from the Golden Globes.

Last month, Gomez also took to TikTok to defend her appearance, revealing the cosmetic procedures she’s had done.
“Honestly I hate this,” she wrote in a now-deleted comment, before referencing lupus, with which she was diagnosed in 2014. “I was on stripes because of flare up. I have Botox. That’s it. Leave me alone.”
