The Lakers have previously announced two statues of Kobe at home. The first one was on February 8, 2024. It was the statue of him holding the sky to commemorate his 81 points in a single game; the second one was on February 8, 2024. On the 24th, it was released that she and her daughter Gigi were watching the game on the sidelines. There was originally expected to be a third one this year, but plans changed.
The Lakers say there are not any plans to unveil a third Kobe Bryant statue during the 2024-25 season.

The first statue commemorates two different periods of Kobe’s career. He used No. 8 in the first 10 years. The most impressive image is naturally his 81 points per game, which was the second highest score in NBA history.
The third statue is expected to commemorate his glorious performance in the 24th period of his career, and there have been reports that it will be unveiled sometime during the 2024-25 season. But Khobi Price revealed that the plan has changed, perhaps because of the date. The Lakers like to choose a meaningful day.

Whatever the reason, fans may have to wait a few more months to see how the team plans to pay tribute to Kobe’s legacy with the Lakers for the third and final time.
To this day, Kobe’s impact on the local community and athletes around the world continues. Not only the Lakers, but also the Los Angeles Dodgers of the Major League Baseball recently held an event to pay tribute to the eternal “Black Mamba.”
