Claims of Michael Jackson and Diddy’s residence being connected through an underground tunnel have circulated online in recent days. This comes after the latter’s arrest on September 16, 2024, as he faces s*x traficking charges.
Meanwhile, social media reports of Jackson’s death case being reopened by law enforcement have made it on the internet as well. However, it is worth noting that neither of the assumptions are true.
On September 28, 2024, Reddit user u/Sad_Ball4496 took to the r/MJInnocent subreddit and claimed that they saw a video where there was an “underground tunnel between P. Diddy’s and MJ’s house.”
The same day, a user ‘nene_george’ took to Instagram, claiming that the FBI found a tunnel in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ house that connected to Michael Jackson’s residence. A voiceover in the video said:
“When they [FBI agents] entered his [Diddy] bedroom, they noticed that the floor near the bed appeared to have been recently disturbed.”
The narration continued:
“One of the officers then moved the bed aside, that’s when they made an unbelievable discovery- an entrance covered only by a rug… the walls of the tunnel appeared newly constructed… as they moved deeper the officer’s found strange items on the floor such as children’s clothing.”
Meanwhile, another speculation about Diddy and Michael Jackson started making rounds online. Reddit user u/No-Singer6718 took to the r/MichaelJackson subreddit to attach a screenshot of a TikTok video where a netizen claimed that the “FBI just reopened Michael Jackson’s m^rder case.”
In the same post, the user further alleged that “Diddy’s former bodyguard came forward and said that “Diddy was a part of Michael jackson, Aaliyah’s, left eye’s, biggie and Tupac’s death.”As these claims continue to spread online widely, it is worth noting that neither of them are true. Law enforcement have not given any confirmation on these rumors.
Federal authorities raided Diddy’s mansion in March 2024
The FBI has not explicitly announced anything regarding the discovery of a tunnel between the two singers’ mansions while raiding Combs’ residence. This is not the first time claims of the rapper having an underground tunnel beneath his mansion has gone viral online.
Previously, allegations of a tunnel in Diddy’s house being connected to the Playboy mansion and the homes of Jack Nicholson and Warren Beatty circulated online following Combs’ arrest. These allegations first came to light in 2015. However, Reuters exclusively confirmed in March 2024 that claims of him having an underground tunnel in his residence were not true.
Furthermore, law enforcement has not announced yet that the “m^rder case” of Michael Jackson has been reopened following the arrest of Combs. No established news outlet has reported the same. Hence, it is safe to say that the claims are not true.
It appears as if the assumptions of the case being reopened have been making rounds amid the viral claim of Combs’ head of security working for Michael Jackson in the past. Seven months ago, Reddit user ‘u/1115551111777111’ alleged that Faheem Muhammad was previously the head of security for Michael Jackson before working for Combs.
The platform user further claimed that Combs instructed his staff to contact Muhammad in case they landed in legal trouble in Miami or California, as he could make “problems and people disappear.”
Other conspiracy theories or rumors have been swirling around in recent weeks, claiming that Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and Combs were involved in the death of Michael Jackson. However, evidence of the same is not made available online by official sources.
It seems like apparently Combs is being falsely connected to numerous celebrities and wrongdoings due to his recent arrest. However, no credible evidence for the aforementioned claims from official sources has surfaced online as of this article’s publication.
