Coleen and Wayne Rooney famously spent four years building a palatial mansion in the luxury UK suburb of Cheshire which is said to be worth a whopping £20 million (€23 million).
The I’m A Celebrity contestant has been telling her campmates about their luxurious home, named High Lake Manor, which includes two bars, two lakes, a full-sized football pitch, six bedrooms and a basement with a secret tunnel.
“We have the common bar, where if people come back late we’ll have that and we use that for parties, because it goes out onto the garden so we can open it up,” she explained, before adding that they also have a “posh bar” situated off their dining room.
The couple finally moved into their dream home just in time for Christmas 2021, and over the years Coleen has been giving fans a glimpse inside the incredible home.
The mansion resembles a hotel more so than a home, with a huge indoor swimming pool – complete with jacuzzi and several chandeliers, while the entrance hall is better described as a grand foyer.
Coleen and Wayne, who have been married for 14 years after meeting as teenagers, purchased the sprawling estate in 2017 for £4million, and spent years building their dream home which was heavily delayed by the pandemic.
The family spent a further £16 million to build a six-bedroom home on the 40-acre site, with plenty of room for their four boys, Kai, 15, Klay, 11, Kit, 8, and Cass, 6.
The home comes complete with a snooker room, home cinema, wine cellar, a lift, underground spa, stables for 14 horses, two man-made lakes and a football pitch for the boys to practice.
