Manchester United fans have made their feelings about Casemiro clear after his performance in the 0-3 loss to Liverpool.
Manchester United were put at a disadvantage against their rivals after Fabio Carvalho put Liverpool ahead in the 10th minute. Curtis Jones then doubled Liverpool’s advantage before half-time.
Konstantinos Tsimikas came off the bench for Liverpool in the second half and scored to secure a 3-0 win for the Reds in the United States.
Casemiro started alongside Toby Collyer, who has impressed on the tour this summer. The 32-year-old Manchester United midfielder played the full 90 minutes at the Williams–Brice Stadium, although he did not impress . The Brazilian was also partly to blame for failing to block Fabio Carvalho for Liverpool’s opener.
Man United fans have sent a clear message about Casemiro, with one person writing on social media: “We can’t start the season with Casemiro in midfield.”
Another added: “If Casemiro starts the season then just give Fulham three points and don’t bother.”
Another posted: “I really hope Casemiro doesn’t start for us this season.”
