Kevin Durant enjoyed some time away from the court this weekend, taking a mini vacation to New York where he spent the day making a few appearances at spots of interest in Brooklyn. First he checked out the Brooklyn Museum’s “Rise of Sneaker Culture” exhibit where he surprised local students and even dropped of a pair of his own Nike KD 8 for the sneaker gallery. Then it was off to lunch and to check out some hoops in the park before Nike’s Tournament of Champions at the Barclay’s Center Plaza, which featured the space transformed into a premium hardwood court.
