Robert Downey Jr. took to Instagram on Sunday to mark his wedding anniversary.
Sharing two photos of him and wife Susan Downey, 49, the 57-year-old Iron Man actor – who recently opened up about his drug-addled past – wrote, ’18 years , love still in bloom!!’
The longtime couple recreated a photo from their wedding day, in which Robert nuzzled up to his bride as she smiled.
The original snapshot featured Susan, a film producer, in a plunging white dress and a sheer veil as she held a white and lavender bouquet.
In the new iteration, the entertainer wore a yellow shirt and Mrs. Downey held a bunch of sunflowers.

Robert also used his Instagram platform earlier this year to give his wife a shout out on Valentine’s Day.
He uploaded a set of photo booth-style captures, in which the performer and his wife smiled and laughed in casual, intimate poses.
The two-time Oscar nominee wrote in the caption, ‘To she who lovingly tolerates my many shenanigans, I pledge my undying love..’
One playful snap showed Susan seated in front of Robert as she flashed a toothy grin and he made a silly, scrunched face while standing behind her.
The post collected over four million likes from the movie star’s following of 57 million.
Susan, who met her future husband on the set of 2003’s Gothika, has been credited with helping him turn his life around after multiple rehab stints and a prison sentence.
But she declined to take credit for Downey Jr.’s recovery in a December 2022 interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
‘If anybody has ever dealt with someone with addiction, you know it has nothing to do with someone else,’ she said. ‘They have to be ready. If you can be a small part of creating an alternative world for them that says, “Hey, I’m here. If you are clean, great.”

‘But there’s no credit I will ever take other than basically saying, “Here’s what I need to have happen,” or more importantly, “What can’t be happening.” But it’s entirely that person.’
In June, Robert opened up about his time behind bars during an appearance on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast.
Of his time behind incarcerated back in 1999, he said: ‘You could just feel the evil in the air, and that was no trouble at all because it was kind of like just being in a really bad neighborhood.
‘There was no opportunity there. There was only threats.’ He also called the Delano, California facility he was in ‘the most dangerous place I’ve ever been in my life.’
