LeBron James’ son Bryce commits to Notre Dame High School after playing alongside brother Bronny at Sierra Canyon

Bryce James will be suiting up this season for Notre Dame… Notre Dame High School, that is.

After playing the past two seasons at Sierra Canyon High School – alongside his older brother Bronny – but has decided to play elsewhere.

Back in May, the 16-year-old son of LeBron James said he’d be transferring to Campbell Hall High School in a different part of Los Angeles.

Even after playing in a tournament in Arizona with Campbell Hall – and spending a few months within their program – Bryce has opted to move to Notre Dame.

Los Angeles Times reporter Eric Sondheimer reported back in late July that Bryce had ‘made inquiries’ about attending Notre Dame.

Bryce (5) had planned the transfer for weeks but was delayed after Bronny’s (0) cardiac arrest

According to Sondheimer, Notre Dame head coach Matt Sargeant revealed that James had his first practice with the team on Wednesday.

Bryce will join the likes of Mercy Miller – a four-star recruit and the son of rapper Master P – as well as three-star recruit Jayden Harper.

Per Tarek Fattal, a school official at Campbell Hall confirmed that Bryce had un-enrolled.

Bryce’s transfer to Notre Dame had been ‘in motion for weeks’, but was further delayed after Bronny’s sudden cardiac arrest incident at USC.
