Tyrese Haliburton may not have played much during Team USA’s gold medal run at the 2024 Paris Olympics, but the Pacers star had a good sense of humor over the whole thing.
Haliburton posted one of the most relatable posts on social media for anyone who has been stuck in a group project in school and only did minimal work.

“When you ain’t do nun on the group project and still get an A,” Haliburton shared on X with a picture of himself with his gold medal.
Haliburton played in three games for the Americans totaling just 26 minutes and recording eight points during the Olympic tournament.
It’s unclear if this played a factor in any of the decisions about his playing time, but on Sunday ESPN reported that he had been dealing with a minor leg injury and underwent an MRI exam.
While the post seemed to be universally heralded online, there was one person who didn’t appear to be a fan.
New Knick Mikal Bridges shared the post to his Instagram story and wrote “I hate this” with crying laughing emojis.
Haliburton’s Olympic appearance at this year’s games had been his first and came after his Pacers made the Eastern Conference Finals by beating the Knicks in seven games and he was an All-NBA Third Team selection.
This year’s squad was packed with plenty of talent, including LeBron James, Steph Curry, Joel Embiid and Kevin Durant.

Curry hit four 3-pointers late in the game against France to help the United States secure the gold medal with a win over France, while James played a big role throughout the Olympic games.
While Haliburton didn’t see a ton of playing time this year, he could be setting up for a much bigger role in 2028 when the Olympics come to Los Angeles and the United States goes for its sixth consecutive gold in men’s basketball.
