LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony join the Children’s Bikeathon

Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade, and LeBron James all entered the NBA in 2003 as members of the same draft class. Despite the fact that Wade has now retired from professional basketball and James and Anthony are now colleagues on the Los Angeles Lakers, they have remained close friends over the years.

Nevertheless, the subject of discussion today is not their present location but rather the King for Kids Bikeathon, which LeBron James organised back in 2005.

LeBron has dedicated his life to helping impoverished children since he first entered the league, and in 2005 he started the Bikeathon. The occasion highlights the value of cycling as a way to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle.

LeBron enlisted his buddies’ help to participate in the charity event in order to increase its impact. With James’s participation, the Bikeathon was a huge success, as was to be expected. Fans still talk nostalgically about this special occasion in 2024.
