LeBron James seemed thrilled to be away in Aspen, Colorado for his family break on Friday.

Dancing through the snow-lined streets with wife Savannah beside him, the NBA player was wrapped up in a fun-loving Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-inspired padded jacket.

He hid behind oversized tortoiseshell sunglasses with his hood up and zipped to his chin but didn’t conceal a jot of his infectious spirit.

LeBron was collar to cuff in a turtle green colour, with charcoal fingerless gloves and black jogging bottoms.

His warm padded jacket completed a practical ensemble that also comprised heavy-duty walking boots and a woolly hat.

Nevertheless, it was an unseasonably warm day in the Colorado ski spot with temperatures reaching a relatively-balmy 20F.

The family’s last holiday was in Hawaii in July, but they are this time sharing it with his mum Gloria and her 32-year-old boyfriend Arthur Lambright, who goes by the rapper name of Da Real Lambo.

Naturally, Cleveland Cavaliers player LeBron towered over the group at 6ft 8in and seemed to be in very high spirits as he danced behind the group.

His mood no doubt had something to do with his recent lifetime singing with Nike, a contract which made history for the sporting brand.

There’s one person who’s not too happy about the signing though, because US rapper Kanye West has heightened the rivalry between Nike’s Air Jordans, which are endorsed by LeBron, and Addidas’ Yeezy shoes, which are made by Kanye.

In Kanye’s new track Facts, which was released on New Year’s Day, he slams the basketball player and the brand.

One line reads: ‘Nike out here bad, they can’t give s*** away, Nike Nike treat employees just like slaves. Gave LeBron a billi’ not to run away.’

Kanye originally wanted to create his own line of Air Jordans in 2013 but signed with the rival Adidas to make his now-successful sneakers.

But thanks to LeBron’s holiday mood, he recently insisted that he hadn’t paid any attention to the diss.

He told Cleveland.com on Monday: ‘I haven’t really listened to it. I heard about it but I haven’t listened to it.’
