The capsule collection signifies a new phase of the K-Pop stars’ relationship with the NBA
After BTS’ Suga confirmed his NBA ambassadorship last April, an upcoming collaboration for the league has now been confirmed with Mitchell & Ness – a licensed partner for fan gear of the NBA. The K-Pop star was recently photographed posing with the apparel collection on NBA’s Instagram, offering fans a teaser of what to expect.
The collection spotlights six NBA teams home to the cities that Suga recently performed in on his solo tour, including the Brooklyn Nets, the Golden State Warriors, the Los Angeles Clippers, the Los Angeles Lakers, the New York Knicks, and the Chicago Bulls. The drop features t-shirts, jackets, shorts, hoodies, and hats, each displaying graphics of the teams’ reworked emblems that follow the design style of the motifs present on Suga’s new album, D-Day.
BTS’ Suga Reveals NBA Collaboration
“I’m so excited for the next phase of my relationship with the league with the launch of my very own capsule collection” reported Suga, in an official statement about the collaboration. “As a longtime fan of the NBA and its teams, this collection is incredibly special to me. I look forward to sharing this with all of you.”
