Whilst back in her home state of Texas on Christmas Eve, Selena Gomez went out to spread about a bit of holiday cheer.
The 24-year-old dropped by Cook Children’s, a pediatric centre in Fort Worth, and spent a bit of time with the patients.
In a photo the establishment posted to Instagram, she wrapped her arms around a grinning child as they stood beside a Christmas tree.

They explained: ‘She spent the morning visiting patients who aren’t able to be home this Christmas Eve.’

E! News have quoted a source who said: ‘She was very sweet and amazing with the kids!’ adding: ‘There were some tears, so it was pretty emotional for some patients.’
Calling the singer ‘absolutely wonderful and genuine,’ the source gushed that ‘The hospital was so thankful she took time away from her family to visit children who can’t be home this Christmas.’
E! News have also cited an Instagram post by Paula Ramsey, whose daughter Madison is one of the patients at Cook Children’s.
