But it seems there’s one thing Chris Hemsworth, 38, can’t do… fish. 

The Thor actor went fishing with friends on Monday and accidentally got his rod caught in a tree.

‘Hey Hemsy, what did you catch mate? He’s got the tree!’ one his mates could be heard saying in one clip while laughing hysterically.

Chris handled the blunder well and joked: ‘It was a big one, but we had to let him go cause of the environment.’

The buff star shared a series of clips and a photo on Instagram to his more than 54million followers.

He captioned his post: ‘Geez how goods fishing. Damn I’m good at it.’

Underneath, his presenter pal Lauren Phillips revealed that her boyfriend and private jet tycoon Paul O’Brien was also on the boat, and scolded him for laughing at Chris in the clip.

‘Not sure why you’re laughing Paul. You didn’t exactly come back with your hands full either,’ she quipped.

Chris, who rose to fame on Neighbours and Home and Away, is best known for his role as Thor in the hit Marvel films. 

The next installment in the franchise, Thor: Love and Thunder, will be released on July 8 and Chris promised fans they’ll both ‘laugh and cry’ at the film.

Natalie Portman also stars in the film and her character will take over Thor’s hammer.
