Incredible locker-room footage reveals the moment Bronny James, 18, showed dad LeBron his courtside angle of record-breaking basket… as Lakers star laughs: ‘That’s tough – send that to me!’

LeBron James got to relive the incredible moment he set a new NBA record for most career points scored by a single player – through the lens of his son’s phone.

On Tuesday, the 38-year-old, four-time NBA champion drilled a historical 14-foot fadeaway jumper with 10.9 seconds left in the third quarter against the Oklahoma City Thunder to sit alone at the top of the NBA’s all-time scoring list.

In the locker room after the game, an amazing moment was captured on film, with the Lakers star seen laughing with his son Bronny, 18 – before telling him to send the clip to his phone so he could keep the memory for himself.

On the court, he celebrated by pointing high toward the ceiling of Crypto.com Arena before the paint was flooded with Lakers teammates, as well as family and friends.

Going into the game, James needed to score 36 points to overtake the record of 38,387 points, which was set by Abdul-Jabbar in 1989, and he ended the night with 38 points, seven rebounds and three assists in a 133-130 loss.

‘Oh, that’s tough!,’ James told Bronny as he watched himself score the record-breaking basket on his son’s phone post-game.

‘You got that saved? Send that to me,’ he added. ‘That’s funny.’

However, in the heat of the action, James probably thought it was anything but funny and seemed emotional. He even broke down in tears when interviewed in a timeout called by the Lakers bench right after he scored the record-breaking bucket.

‘I write ”The Man In The Arena” on my shoe every single night from Theodore Roosevelt,’ The King told TNT. ‘Tonight, I actually felt like I was sitting on top of the arena when that shot went in, and the roar from the crowd…’

‘I’m not sure if I would be able to feel that feeling again,’ he added. ‘Unless it’s a game-winning Finals shot.’

MVP chants from the crowd followed the moment before highlights of James’ 20-year career were shown on the arena’s videoboard.

As the youngest player in league history to score each one-thousand-point milestone from 1,000 to 38,000, James, who is averaging 30.0 points this season, is also the oldest player to ever average 30 points per game.

James also posed with NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and ex-Laker Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
