Jason Momoa is definitely a man with a need for speed!

And on Wednesday the Aquaman actor hopped on to one of his vintage motorcycles and met up with a group of friends for a day of riding through the hills of scenic Malibu.  

The loud sounds of all the revving and roaring from all the engines was sweet music to the leading man, who pulled into one of the group’s meeting spots looking like a true Southern California biker.

And that’s exactly what Momoa appeared to be doing during his afternoon ride with his pals.

The Harley-Davidson enthusiast not only showed off his taste for bikes and choppers, but also his unique fashion sense dressed in tan pants with a matching camouflage shirt.

The strapping 6ft4in leading man also donned a pair of classic black motorcycle boots, stylish sunglasses, and had his dark locks styled long.

Moments later, he put his helmet back on, hopped onto his vintage motorcycle and fired his engine back up with plenty of fanfare.

It wasn’t long before Momoa and company were back on the road soaking in the scenery as they made their way around the winding path along the canyons.

And while Momoa has been an advocate for protecting the environment, he’s also passionate about the freedom he gets from riding his motorcycles and muscle cars, and anything else that goes ‘vroom, vroom.’

Still to this day, he gets a kick out of the special sound that’s made ‘when you kickstart the bike and the motor growls right back at you.’

Just four days earlier, Momoa and rocker Lenny Kravitz showed off their bromance and love for motorcycles. 

‘Ride or die. Brothers for life,’ the Fly Away singer-songwriter captioned an Instagram photo of the pair sharing a handshake while sitting on their respective motorcycles.

Zoë Kravitz — Lenny’s daughter and Jason’s stepdaughter — jumped into the conversation and commented, ‘Well isn’t this just adorable. Love you both so much.’    

In January, Momoa and Bonet announced they had separated after about 17 years as a couple, which includes more than four years of marriage.  

Kravitz and Bonet were married for about six years, beginning in 1987, before they amicably split in 1993.
