10 Classic Cars Kevin Hart Drives

Most people know Kevin Hart for his hilarious stand-up comedy specials and his many funny performances on the big screen. In fact, there aren’t many actors in Hollywood that are currently working harder than him. That’s probably why he’s laughing all the way to the bank year in year out. It’s clear he is using his gifts well, too. The money he’s making has allowed him to pick up a new hobby—collecting classic cars.

GM reached an unimaginable level of success with its GTO Pontiac in 1966. America’s favorite muscle car had now become a full-fledged model and was no longer just an option. There were a lot of style changes made compared to the 1964 and 1965 versions, which were also very popular.

It dropped the angular aesthetic for more seductive contours. The car’s body shape was famously dubbed the coke bottle style. A few years ago, Kevin put some new “shoes” on his Pontiac GTO. Forgiato, a Los Angeles auto specialist company, built him custom luxury wheels.

The 1959 Corvette Convertible has the same body shape as its 1958 counterpart. The small improvements over the previous model year included the removal of the two chrome bars that featured from the deck lid and the phony hood louvers. Another noticeable change was the seats. Corvette redesigned its seats and came up with some of the most comfortable seats you’ll find in any old-school sports car. They do a great job at keeping both the passenger and driver comfortably in place.

Kevin recently bought one of these for around $825,000 or so. The C1 he added to his car collection is a truly beautiful machine with a 6.2-liter V8 engine under the hood.

Jeep Wrangler

There aren’t many cars out there that boast the kind of bloodline that the Wrangler has. It goes all the way back to when the world was at war for the second time, born from the United States army’s desire to come up with a capable off-road automobile. It’s spawned numerous imitators since then but it has also amazingly stayed true to the format first introduced in the 1940s.

Kevin, however, didn’t actually buy the Jeep Wrangler in his collection. It was a gift from one of his close friends. Wouldn’t it be great to have friends like that, huh? He calls his car the “What Now Jeep Wrangler.”
