Lady Gaga shared a friendly hug with Tom Cruise as they both arrived to watch the women’s gymnastics during the Paris Olympics 2024 on Sunday.

The pop superstar, 38, and the Top Gun actor, 62, looked delighted to see each other as they embraced in the crowds.

It was a star-studded affair at the gymnastics with the likes of Ariana Grande, Nick Jonas, John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen also in attendance.

Lady Gaga looked casual in a navy USA sweater as she showed her support for her home team – which includes Simone Biles – but added her usual touch of glamour with a red lip.

She is in the French capital after performing at the opening ceremony by the banks of the Seine on Friday night.

Tom looked pleased to see her as they chatted away and looked smart in a white T-shirt and dark jeans. 

Later Lady Gaga was seen greeting her Rain On Me collaborator as they hugged in the crowds. 

It comes after Lady Gaga fans went wild saying she was ‘just like them’ after she was spotted stepping out to buy a takeaway sandwich in Paris on Saturday.

She was keen to make the most of the city’s culinary delights – stopping off to to order a sandwich herself – despite her superstar status.

The star was seen looking typically chic in an all-black ensemble while sporting dark shades and flawless makeup – as she was joined by two burly bodyguards. 

Lady Gaga – who said back in 2011 that she ‘loved ham and cheese sandwiches from Paris’ – was seen chatting away making her order before sharing a laugh and joke with one of the waiters who took her card payment.

She was then seen being escorted out by her two security men as fans who spotted her took snaps and videos.

The star was then whisked away in a waiting car as she carried her takeaway sandwich all wrapped up for her in her hand. 

While her top half was casual she wore huge pointed platform shiny boots which boosted her height 

Her fans were absolutely delighted to see her as they posed for snaps with her in the background in the stands

She completed her look with white glasses and wore her long brunette tresses in a sleek pony tail

They looked delighted to see each other at the women’s gymnastics event in Paris 

She teamed her casual hoodie with the wild heels 

They shared a warm embrace 

They stopped and chatted at the event for a while

She looked stunning in her chic white dress

She later climbed into a waiting car as she headed back to her hotel after the sporting event 

She accessorised with simple white pearl earrings

In an interview back in 2011 she said how much she loved ham and cheese sandwiches from Paris.

She appeared to be speaking on a French TV show as she showed off her linguistic talent with the comment in French.

It comes after she delighted fans on Saturday night by singing Always Remember Us This Way outside her Paris hotel – a day after she wowed at the Olympics 2024 Opening Ceremony.

The American singer emerged from the sunroof of her car to sing the hit song featured in her 2018 film with Bradley Cooper: A Star Is Born.
