Lebron James was left stumped after a fan asked was he at his best with the Miami Heat or Cleveland Cavaliers
A recent Instagram post regarding LeBron James got plenty attention from fans.
It even caught the eye of James himself. The question asked which version of James was better: 2012 Miami Heat or 2018 Cleveland Cavaliers?
As the answers piled, James couldn’t help but chime in. He responded by posting, “Wow!!!!!! Ummmm I cant even pick which one myself hahaha!”
Some have said James was at his peak during his years with the Heat from 2010-2014. He won two MVPs while leading them to two titles (2012 and 2013) in four straight NBA Finals appearances.
In 2012, he averaged 27.1 points, 7.9 rebounds and 6.2 assists in 62 games during a lockout-shortened season. He capped it by having 26 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds in the Game 5-clinching victory against the Oklahoma City Thunder to win his first title.
In 2017-18, James averaged 27.5 points, 9.1 assists and 8.6 rebounds for the Cavs while playing all 82 games. Some believe it was the his best individual season even though it came up short in the end. The Cavaliers were swept the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals.
James has since moved on to the Los Angeles Lakers, where he defeated the Heat in the 2020 Finals. With no plans of slowing down, this debate could spill into his Lakers tenure as well.
