LeBron James burst into tears as he helped the CAVs win their first NBA championship

Tears of happiness rolled down LeBron James’ cheeks on the day he and his hometown team Cleveland Cavaliers won their first NBA championship.

When the bell rang to signal the end of the 2015/2016 NBA Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers (CAVs) and the Golden State Warriors, joy erupted for LeBron James and his teammates.

The 31-year-old star hugged teammate Kevin Love in indescribable happiness after the dramatic 93-89 victory in the 7th match of the final playoff series.

Tears rolled down King James’ cheeks as he received the championship trophy.

James won the NBA championship twice with Miami Heat in 2012 and 2013, but this is definitely the most memorable championship of his career.

The 2016 NBA championship is the first title James has won with his hometown team after two defeats in the finals against the San Antonio Spurs (2007) and the Golden State Warriors a year ago.

The Akron, Ohio-born star’s happy moment as he helped the CAVs win their first championship.

Thanks to his excellent performance (averaging 30.2 points per game), James received the title of Best Player of the Finals series.

He received the title and congratulations from the legend Bill Russell.

“It’s unbelievable! I can’t describe my feelings right now. I’m going home and enjoying this happiness with my hometown fans,” James emotionally shared.

Having to play away at Oracle Arena, Oakland, California, but the legendary “number 23” and his teammates played excellently.

James had 27 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists, 3 blocks and 2 steals.

King James successfully paid off the debt he owed Stephen Curry and the Warriors a year ago.

Kyrie Irving’s brilliant performance also helped CAVs become the first team in NBA history to successfully reverse the final series despite being down 1-3.

Voted MVP for his highest scoring average (30.1 points per game), Steph Curry still couldn’t help the Warriors continue to dominate the NBA.
