NBA, like all sports across the globe, may well be on lockdown right now, but that hasn’t stopped LeBron James from looking to set himself apart from the rest.
The Los Angeles Lakers’ superstar has been working hard this week to ensure he is in pristine condition for when the courts fill up once more to round out the season.
Like many top athletes, James is on an intense personal training regime right now, as sports stars bid to stay on the top of their game despite remaining within the confines of their own homes.

With a grimace on his face, the 35-year-old Laker performed a series of gruelling exercises
James then moved onto the weights to work on both his upper body muscle and his core
Taking to social media however, the living basketball legend was keen to show his 63million Instagram followers just what hard work looks like.
Uploading various clips to Instagram, a topless James could be seen working on the resistance cables in his garden area while glistening with sweat.
The 35-year-old then moved onto the weights, working on both his core and upper body muscles in unison.
Captioning the footage, James told his followers: ‘All band and core work! Let’s work folks! Who with me??? #StriveForGreatness.’
Later in the same evening James pulled the heartstrings of many when he revealed he was sat at home watching back through old footage of himself playing alongside fellow Lakers icon Kobe Bryant.
Later in the evening James sat down to watch historic footage from the 2008 Olympic Games
While relaxing, James videoed the footage which showed himself and Bryant on national duty, representing the United States at the 2008 Beijing Olympics in the gold medal clash against Spain.
James focused in on the action as the US got their noses in front and the cameras picked up him pulling Bryant into a warm embrace after making a crucial basket.
Bryant passed away along with his young daughter Gianna and seven others during a tragic helicopter crash on January 26 in Calabasas, California.
As the coronavirus pandemic continues to unfold, the NBA announced it had reached an agreement with the National Basketball Players Association to withhold 25 per cent of each player’s salary from May 15 due to the shutdown of the sport.
The deal would provide a gradual reduction in player salaries in case a ‘force majeure’ event, such as the pandemic, wipes out the rest of the regular season.

The money will be placed in escrow – placed in temporary holding – and paid back to players if all of the remaining regular season games are played, ESPN reported.
If only part of the season can be played, the amount paid out would be on a pro-rata basis, based on the number of games that were completed.
The salary reductions will continue through the first two months of the 2020-21 NBA season, ESPN added.
The NBA has not held a game since March 11 and it is unclear when it might return to action.
