Lebron James is one proud father. Recently, the NBA legend got emotional after watching sons Bronny and Bryce play together on the same court.
“Man I’m literally watching Bronny and Bryce on the court together for the first time in a game situation!! This is INSANE!! I’m EMOTIONAL AF!! WOW,” the proud father tweeted to his 5.9M followers as he watched his sons play basketball together for the California Basketball Club.
The CBC is a dream team that also showcases the sons of former NBA stars Scottie Pippen and Penny Hardaway, in addition to the Bronny and Bryce.
This marked the first time that 17-year-old Bronny and his 15-year-old brother, Bryce played side-by-side on a competitive court. Unfortunately, the pair and their teammates from the CBC would be defeated 81-74 in London by the Hoopsfix Elite. Yet, their loss didn’t distract from the fact that both James boys are turning into phenomenal basketball players right before our eyes.
Bronny, who is in the class of 2023 at the famed Sierra Canyon School in the Chatsworth neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, is currently tasked with what many seniors are engulfed with at the moment-college decisions. The talented young man, known for his defense, is currently looking at top schools that include: University of Kansas, University of Kentucky, University of North Carolina and Duke University, as per 247 Sports.
Although he hasn’t officially made a decision on college or what he will do when he gets to the next level some day, we do know that Bronny is making himself one diverse player on the court, adding offense to his on court repertoire.
As for Bryce James, he has now physically outgrown his older brother and is a top-notch 3-point shooter.
As for King James himself, he is embarking upon his final season with the Los Angeles Lakers. After this season, James will become a free agent.
It has been a dream of the elder James to one day play alongside his children in the NBA. Bronny will be eligible for the draft in 2024.
Bronny, Bryce, and their teammates on the California Basketball Club are currently touring their way through Europe, playing teams from London, Paris, and Rome.
