Lebron James took spooky season very seriously this year with a terrifying Halloween costume.

The NBA legend went as iconic serial killer slasher Freddy Krueger at his own star-studded costume party in Hollywood.

Stars Chris Brown and Drake were both seen exiting the swanky Los Angeles soiree hosted by the Lakers’ shooting guard on Sunday night.

James, 36, was unrecognizable wearing a face full of scarred skin prosthetics and fake yellow teeth to look like the horror film character.

The basketball star rocked the Nightmare on Elm Street villain’s classic fedora and red striped sweater. 

In an Instagram snap, he raised one arm up to showcase a gloved hand with Freddy’s signature metal claw fingers.

Quoting the movie murderer, Lebron captioned his Instagram: “‘Sticks And Stones May Break My Bones But Nothing Will Ever Kill Me” SWEET DREAMS’

Different vibes! Drake attended Lebron’s party dressed to the nines while the host himself opted for a face full of scary prosthetics and razor blade gloves like the Nightmare on Elm Street slasher 

Freddy Krueger is the fictional slasher from Wes Craven’s Nightmare on Elm Street film franchise who murders victims in their dreams and was famously played by actor Robert Englund. 

Lebron rocked his creepy costume to his own Halloween party that saw the likes of several other stars in attendance.

Controversial singer Chris Brown was spotted exiting the soiree in the early hours of Monday morning dressed in head-to-toe white as a mummy. 

A jovial Drake was also seen heading home after a night of revelry. The Canadian superstar looked every bit the dandy in a white tuxedo jacket with satin lapels. 

Last week LeBron made headlines when he revealed during a press conference that he ‘didn’t like’ the ending of Netflix’s dystopian juggernaut, Squid Game.

Squid Game creator, Hwang Dong-hyuk, fired back, even going as far as the rub salt in the wound that is LeBron’s poorly-reviewed Space Jam sequel.

When first asked about the shooting guard’s Squid Game comments by The Guardian, Dong-hyuk giggled at the reporter before swiftly quipping: ‘Have you seen Space Jam 2?’

Space Jam 2 was a highly-anticipated sequel to the beloved 1996 live-action/animated film Space Jam, which starred Michael Jordan and the Looney Tunes gang.

Unfortunately, Space Jam 2 left much to be desired when it hit theaters on July 16. The film currently holds a 26% score on Rotten Tomatoes and was blasted by NPR for having a ‘convoluted’ plot.

Though he may disagree with his take, the 50-year-old screenwriter hasn’t let that cloud his respect for James.

‘LeBron James is cool and can say what he wants. I respect that. I’m very thankful he watched the whole series,’ said Hwang, before stating that he still stands by his choice to end season one the way that he did.

“But I wouldn’t change my ending. That’s my ending,’ he stressed.

Hwang, showcasing more of his characteristically sarcastic humor, joked that if LeBron ‘has his own ending that would satisfy him’ that he should get to work on it.

‘Maybe he could make his own sequel. I’ll check it out and maybe send him a message saying, “I liked your whole show, except the ending.”‘
