Mason Greenwood, a former Manchester United attacker, scored again for Marseille in their 2-2 draw at home against Reims.

Greenwood now has three goals in two games for Marseille, after scoring twice on his debut against Brest.

Marseille took the lead against Reims thanks to Amine Harit, but goals from Sergio Akieme and Yaya Fofana put the visitors ahead.

Greenwood, on the other hand, earned a point for Marseille after scoring with a header. 

It was revealed this week that Greenwood, who has one senior cap for England, is likely to transfer allegiance to Jamaica.

Greenwood has scored three goals in two games since joining Marseille.

Greenwood left United this summer for Marseille on a £27 million transfer. 

He had a loan spell at Getafe last season, when he scored ten goals in 36 games across all competitions.

Greenwood did not play for United again after his arrest in January 2022.

Greenwood joined for Marseille this summer after leaving Manchester United.

He was then charged with attempted rape, assault, and controlling and coercive behaviour.

Greenwood fiercely denied any misconduct, and the allegations and prosecution were dismissed in February 2023 after crucial witnesses withdrew.

Greenwood made 129 appearances for United, scoring 35 goals and providing 12 assists.
