And on Saturday’s 12th day of the tournament, Tom Cruise, his rumoured ‘girlfriend’ Hayley Atwell and Priyanka Chopra brought a touch of Hollywood to South London as they descended upon the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

The Mission Impossible star, 59, was bringing the A-list glamour in a sleek suit, while his co-star Hayley, 39, looked radiant in a white patterned gown. They were in good company as actress Priyanka, 38, also joined in the fun, looking elegant in a billowing, marble-print number.

The film star added a crisp white shirt and silver tie, while he shielded his eyes from the sun (and inevitable flash bulbs) as he made his way inside.

Tom appeared chuffed to be at the tennis event as he made his way through the crowd on the penultimate day of the tournament with Hayley at his side.

Hayley looked radiant in a white patterned maxi dress teamed with a smart cream coat draped over her shoulders.

Tom hasn’t had a high-profile romance since his divorce from ex-wife Katie Holmes in 2012 while Hayley is said to have split from her English doctor ex earlier this year. 

A source told The Sun back in December: ‘Tom and Hayley hit it off from day one. Lockdown, and all the difficulties that came with it, brought them even closer and they’ve become fairly inseparable.

‘They’ve been meeting up after hours, and she’s been to his London pad. They get on brilliantly, and both seem very happy.’

Australian Ashleigh Barty triumphed over Czech Karolina Pliskova in three sets to win her first Wimbledon championship title – the first time a women’s singles final has gone to three sets in 15 years.
