Tom Cruise stopped to sign autographs for fans in London on Saturday night.

The Hollywood star, 61, had made a surprise appearance at Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday party at Oswald’s members-only club in Mayfair over the weekend and after helping the pop icon ring in the milestone, gladly stopped to meet fans who had waited outside.

The Top Gun star appeared in good spirits as he exited the glitzy do all suited and booted in his tuxedo and accessorised with a pair of dark shades.

He was swarmed by members of the public wanting to meet him and didn’t shy away as he stopped to say hello on his way home from the A-Lister bash.

Tom was all smiles as he scrawled over a slew of posters from his hit movies, but his appearance at the do took many by surprise.

The actor has been in the capital in recent weeks filming for the latest instalment in his Mission Impossible franchise, but his arrival at the Spice Girl’s celebration was not without drama.

Tom helped up a photographer who crashed to the ground when he got to the party when many fans got overexcited at his arrival and scrambled to get his attention.

Once the gentleman was on his feet, Tom headed into the exclusive club to celebrate fashion designer Victoria’s birthday.

After spending some time with the crowd, the War of the Worlds star headed swiftly off into the night, having spent the evening rubbing shoulders with other A-Listers like Eva Longoria, Gordon Ramsay and the Spice Girls.

Tom’s night out happened just two days after his daughter Suri celebrated her 18th birthday in New York, where she lives with her mother Katie Holmes.

Tom, who has had ‘no part in Suri’s life’ for 11 years, is currently in the UK where he is filming Mission Impossible 8.

Former footballer David could be seen with an excited smile on his face as the group showed off a few dance moves while singing along to the lyrics. Other partygoers also joined in on the fun during the special moment.
